Julian Goresko
Director of Sustainability
Julian Goresko is the Sustainability Director for Johns Hopkins University and brings over ten years of experience working in the sustainability and higher education sectors. Before joining JHFRE, Julian served as the Senior Sustainability Manager in the University of Pennsylvania’s Office of Sustainability, where he led university-wide strategic planning efforts, implementation, and engagement programs for the institution’s Climate Action Plan 2.0.
At Johns Hopkins, Julian is responsible for helping lead the university’s sustainability vision and working with stakeholders across the entire university to identify practices and programs that advance Hopkins’ role as a leader in sustainability regionally and globally. Julian has broad experience in all aspects of university administration and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Environmental Studies with a concentration in sustainability.
