Wyman Park Building Renovation 


Project Description

Scope of renovation to include: 

  • Construct a new building core addition, with new elevators and multi floor communicating stair.
  • Add new rooftop mechanical equipment 
  • Interior renovations 
  • Exterior renovations to include masonry cleaning and repointing, select window replacement and roof replacement

Project Schedule

  • Overall schedule: August 2021 – October 2023 
  • Mobilization: September 2021 
  •  Install Site fencing: October 2021
  • Remove ground floor modular addition: November & December 2021
  • Begin core addition ground work: September 2021
  •  Core addition topping out: September 2022
  • Remove roof AHU’s: August & September 2022
  • Existing loading dock repairs: April 2023
  • Project completion: August 2023

Traffic and Pedestrian Closures, Detours 

  • Construction traffic to enter/exit the site at 31st Street, right on Remington Avenue, left on Wyman Park Drive to Sisson/29th Street/I-83 
  • Construction workers will park at Johns Hopkins at Eastern on 33rd Street and will be shuttled to the job site daily.
